Description

Former Learners students who are in 6th grade and up and have a strong interest to continue improving at chess and competing in chess tournaments.

Coached by three Time NM State Champion and Chess Expert, Coach Douglas Thigpen.

A chess club to challenge our middle school chess learners to continue their chess education and prepare for grade level and state level chess tournaments. After tournaments, club meetings will focus on more fun chess variants like bughouse.
